Perth 29th January 1788 I Laurence Buchan Surveyor
aforesaid do hereby certify That upon careful Examination of the Several
Rates and Duties I find they amount in Whole to Seven pounds [Four]
Shillings Ster [Sterling] and that upon 24th Curr [Current] I delivered to Mr Patrick[Miller]
Collector of the Said Duties for the Town aforesaid an Exact Duplicate [of the]
above Account Duly Examined and Compared with the foregoing. The
Above Acc. [Account] being ageeable to the Charges and returns made by the
Sundrie Occupiers
