½ year Duty

I, James Allan Surveyor aforesaid do hereby certify That upon
carefull Examination of the foregoing several Rates and duties I find
they Amount in whole to Four pounds two Shillings sterg [Sterling] & that upon
the 23rd Current I delivered to Mr John Jameson in Alloa Collector of
the said Duties for the County Aforesaid an exact duplicate of the Above
Account, duly examined & compared with the foregoing which contained my Oath
that Notices were left with the several Inhabitants or at their Dwelling
Houses of the dates annexed to their respective names that they are chargeable
with the Sums set against their several Names certified to be due from them
