I William Hogg Surveyor of Taxes Do Hereby Declare & Certify t [that]
upon Carefull Examination of the foregoing Account of Dutys on
Carts in the County of Berwick I find they Amount to Ten Pou [Pounds]
Fifteen Shillings Stirling. And that upon the 1st Decr [December] 1785 I deliv [delivered]
to Mr David Rinton Collector of the Dutys in said County An
Exact Duplicate of the Foregoing Account Justly Examined a [and]
Compared which Contained My Oath that the Different Inhabi [Inhabitants]
were Charged from the answers they gave to Requisitions, that [by]
Personal Appearance or from Messages sent me giving Intim [Intimation]
that they were to Employ Carts in the Hyring way
