I John Wood Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify
that upon careful Examination I find these Duties
to amount to the Sum of one thousand and thirteen
pounds eight Shillings Stg. Sterling and that this day being
the 3 of March 1798 I did deliver into the office of George
Cranstoun Esqr. Collector of the said Duties a Duplicate
of this Report and I certify that the charges Against
the several Inhabitants are made either from their
Returns to my Requisitions or from the best possible information
I could get when they failed to make
such Returns
