A Survey of the Rates and Duties on Wheel Carriages Arisen in the Burgh of Aber
brothock for the three quarters of one Year from the 5th July 1784 to the 5th April 1786 by William Greig Surveyor

I William Greig Surveyor aforesaid do hereby certify that upon carefull examination of
the foregoing duties they amount in whole to Thirteen pounds two Shillings and Six pence
Sterling and that upon the -- day of -- 1786 I delivered Mr. John Colvill [Collector of the cess
and of the said duties for the Burgh aforesaid an exact duplicate of the above Account
(as will Appear ---- ) duly examined and Compared with
the foregoing which contained my Oath that Notices were left with both the persons
before named, or at their dwelling houses of the dates annexed to their names, requiring
them within fourteen days to give in a list of their Servants retained or employed
by them from the fifth day of July 1784 to the fifth day of April 1785, and that the fore:
going Survey is made from the lists returned to me William Greig Surveyor
