1786 by James Allan Surveyor

I, James Allan Surveyor aforesaid do hereby testify that on careful
Examination of the foregoing several rates and duties. I find the amount
in whole to be Forty Seven pounds five shillings Sterg. [Sterling] and that upon the 5 July
last I delivered to Mr. John Jamieson Collector of the said duties for the County aforesaid
an exact duplicate of the above account duly examined and compared with the
foregoing which contained my oath that notices were left withe the several Individuals
or at their dwelling houses & that they are chargeable with the sums hereby certified
to be due from them.
